I didn't, but I was told that GMs looked at my account for gold buying etc. My point is not that the mafia can ban people for opposing them - my point is that there are GMs that play in the mafia. It is not in their interest to party-poop.

No GM will ever do anything to stop this cross-faction collusion. Why? Because there are GMs among the Un'goro mafia. I have been abused verbally by the leader of the Un'goro mafia (Curatorx aka Vathdar) about how I am going to get banned for selling sets cheaper than them because, quote-on-quote "GMs are among us". Yes I have screenshots. The truth is - this is life. The same thing is in the real world as well. The only way to beat the Un'goro mafia is to get more organized, gather more players and be more skilled and better geared. Their only mistake (and eventually their Demise) is their arrogance. Trust me, something is cooking. They will see it coming but there are more guilds on this server who will watch the mafia go down that there are guilds who want to join them. The same story has been repeating throughout the history of mankind. A group of extremely intelligent individuals organize themselves and seize power, claiming all resources. At some point though, they get too arrogant and greedy, and get overthrown by the "masses". To give you an example, read on how Taxes first came in the economy. Stay tuned....

I'm sorry but 620g for 2/2 devilsaur set is just too much. What the players behind the Un'goro mafia have done is nothing short of outstanding - they created an organized group, partnered with the opposite faction, and reaped tremendous returns. However, I feel their arrogance and greed has gone a tad too far. I tried contacting these mafia characters to ask for a bulk price on devilsaur leather or whether they can let me farm for a fee. I received no response whatsoever. World of Warcraft is a social game and to fully enjoy it one must make friends and play together. This whole mafia thing, however, has gone way out of line.
