Is it just me who think it's amusing when people comment about something being illegal in China when they themselves use pirated illegal software to play on an illegal pirate server? Nothing immoral with that but illegal nonetheless.

If you type the wrong password to many times then I have heard that your account gets temporarily banned. Maybe it's that.

Your topic is kinda confusing. You warn "PvP'ers" about casually joining battlegrounds. One would think "PvP'ers" usually focus on pvp and run premades themselves.

Do you have any suggestions or ideas to solve the problem or did you only wanna QQ?

It's a matter of supply and demand. The supply is low and the demand is high and players who already have a lvl 60 on the realm will have access to hundreds of golds to spend on their new characters.

I donno. The other day there was 21k players online on the servers. That's more than Nostalrius ever had on it's 2 realms. Maybe the recent drama and downtime have reduced the numbers but 3-5k on Anathema and even more on Elysium seems pretty optimal playerbase on one realm if you ask me. I am blessed with total ignorance in these matters and is happy as long as I can log in and have fun ;)

Yes indeed I do. If they would have a warning first this could only lead to one thing. More people will buy gold because everyone would know you will always get a warning first. Buy all the gold you want, first you get a warning, so your account is safe. BAD IDEA. No! Ban them all! And if they have more than one account, ban those also and if they make a new account, wait 3 month and then ban that to! spamfunders aka goldbuyers have no sympathy from me.

Who are these "guys" and when did they claim they are as good as nost? Elysium is infinite better than Nost, because you know, nost, is closed...

You don't seem to grasp the concept that people who buy gold is paying hackers money to steal other innocent players accounts. That's where the gold comes from. Those people do not deserve a warning.

Only reason there are goldspam, hacked accounts, and goldseller are because people BUY GOLD! The only bad guys here are the idiots who buy stolen gold. If people didn't pay money to these professional hackers, botters and spammers, we would not have hackers, botters and spammers. If you buy gold you account should be perma banned. No question about that in my mind. There should ofc be a way to appeal a ban as humans and automated system can make mistakes and ban an innocent player. But no sympathy from me to people who actually buy gold and get banned. No they don't. Why the hell do you think they "DESERVE" a warning when they FUND hackers, botters and spammers with IRL money? No, you are WRONG. Maybe if you break some in-game rule you could deserve a warning, but funding thieves and buying other players stolen gold should always be a perma-ban. Because that is what these idiots are doing who buy gold; They are paying thieves to steal other players accounts. Those players who get hacked did not deserve that, but you think the players who pay for it deserve a second chance? No, just no. Well then you are an idiot sir. If you can't see any difference between murdering people on a buss and banning free accounts that pay money to hackers to steal other players account and send them stolen gold. People who buy gold is indirectly paying money for hackers to steal other players accounts. People who buy gold is indirectly paying money for botters to swarm the server with bots and ruining the in-game market. People who buy gold is indirectly paying money for spammers to spam players in-game and ruining the gaming experience. People who buy gold ruin the game and should be banned.

Is it though? Just the other day there was 21k players online in total and that seems fair on 4 realms unless you want serious lag. I remeber on Nost with 12k players online was pretty much unplayable most of the time (was awesome anyway but pretty much unplayable).

The default "rules" for need/greed is this: Need = loot you will equip/learn and use. Greed = loot you will sell or send to an alt. By rules, I mean my opinion as there are no rules here really. With that said. It's WRONG to call the mage in question a "ninja" when 5 players rolled need on the BOE item. I would agree that he is a ninja if he waited until the other 4 had rolled greed and then rolled need. To change the "rules" on the fly and have 5 players all roll need on a very expensive BOE loot is totally acceptable or even the best solution in my opinion. Sometimes I write in chat before a run starts: "Loot rules, greed=sell, need=equip, all ok with that". That's the only way to be able to claim someone of being a ninja for clicking need when they sell the item. But even in those situations I would recommend to have all click need on very expensive BOE loot. Maybe it would be better to just say when the run starts "need on all BOE loot and mats and sort it after if someone need" but the risk would be that someone needs on BoP loot maybe and would not be nice either. On topic. I totally understand the warrior is upset and angry but I don't agree and I instead agree with the mage. 5 players all needed, it's fair for all. The warrior can buy the shoulders on AH. No rules was specified before the run started, so no rules was broken.

These people act like spoiled kids. Really hard to take anyone serious who have a reason for quitting: "Name change from Nostalrius PvP to Anathema"...

Outranging guards is not safespotting. At-least it wasn't on Nostalrius. To be conciderade safespotting you have to stand on a spot where guards/players can't reach you, not when they don't aggro you. But I don't now the rules on Elysium.

Sell everything on AH! At lvl 30 you can easy make 50-100g++ just from selling things you get while doing quests. Personally I'm using AUX addon, makes it very easy to sell on AH. There are also Auctioneer.
