This isnt really against the Rules of our game as anyone is freely allowed to kill what they wish. However, if a player is keeping another from progressing a quest by killing the quest giver... that is grounds for investigation. NOTE: We have a strong Chinese population (which is great), but many do not understand enough English to fully convey their thoughts. Please be mindful that the stigma of the "Chinese GOLD Farmer" isnt a viable excuse for anything from players who do not speak English or have Chinese names.

You may feel that killing players from an unfair location not easily accessible to all players (COUGH - Gnomes / Taurens) is alright, and the players that complain are just crying... However, when the guards are attempting to remedy a situation that is not allowed to happen in a town, or other players cant spot you or hit you due to sight issues with a rooftop or fence structure you are hiding on... this is an unfair advantage. The masses care, and the minorities do not win in this situation. You may not agree or understand the reasoning, but that is okay... you dont have too. All you have to do is follow our rules... as you agreed to by our TOU when you selected "I AGREE" after creating your account. This topic is locked due to running its life span...

This depends on how you are doing it. IF you are behind the Alliance hut and sniping people this will be seen as spotting as there are many many obstacles blocking LoS that you might think is Out of Range. But if you are sniping from outside the road... you are fine.

Receiving gold is not prohibited by our TOU... However, our Gold Detection System could flag it IF it were illegal gold. Beware that you are accepting a massive sum of gold, and if so... you will be flagged as a buyer with both accounts being sanctioned for it. I would recommend you make sure that gold is legit before you even accept it. Id hate to see you in my appeals forum...

Currently, as it stands TTL is correct in their response. You could report it to a GM, but as long as there is a 100% viable PvP solution on the board we cannot touch the player. We can only ask that they do what is right, but what is right by them might not be what it is to you. However, IF they are holding the flag to help Win-trade... this is a different story... and we will investigate it properly.

As my good friend Josipbroz mentioned, please do report these players to us. Often times they slip through because players dismiss what they saw as a bug or a possible bird malfunction. I would urge you if you feel something is off ALWAYS report it. When you also find someone doing a fly hack or speed hack, in the case of flight (Screenshot is perfect! Upload a URL into your Ticket) as for a speed hack... (Video would be of great help to us, but not 100% required of you...)... and as always the names! The GM team doesn't really get involved in personal disputes over trades ect... However, if the player agreed to something and did not provide said service, and you have evidence... You may put a ticket in and a GM may be able to assist. We do not pick and choose, and we do not promise we will... but if you have sufficient enough evidences... We can possibly look into for you.

Just to chime in here... The GM Team generally does not intervene when it comes to Ninja'ing items. However, we will investigate if there is definitive scamming... This goes as follows... The group agrees to loot rules prior to the start of the dungeon, if at any point any player changes the loot rules without consent of the group (In order to take advantage of the system or obtain something the group worked collectively to obtain) this can and may be considered scamming. If you feel you have been scammed by a player, we encourage you to put a ticket in and submit evidences. This is not a response saying that we will every time see eye to eye with players, or that we will sanction anyone or ban them... this is a reminder that Group Looting Rules have to be agreed upon with the amount of players joining... Otherwise, it is lying, deceitful, and scamming.

We encourage everyone who thinks they have encountered a player breaking the rules to submit a ticket detailing the actions. Please submit a ticket into the GMs via the Ticket System in Game. However, have you tried logging out for 5-10 minutes and relogging in.

That is correct. Nostalrius has cut ties with Elysium and we no longer share any Database information with them. Therefore... Your characters are essentially lost to the nether.

We do not restore Dungeon items... We only restore Quest items... sorry.

This sounds like you may have been victim of a hacked account. If you havent already please enable 2 factor Authentication in the control menu, and also please log in game (Without creating any character with the names of the ones you want restored) and submit an in-game ticket. We may (Without promise) be able to restore them. Thank you!

This is not a debate topic over this vs that, blizzlike DM vs unblizzlike .... Changes are made in regards to certain aspects of the game to better set things in line with the server as a whole. During retail certain classes had hugely distinctive advantages over others in regards to farming gold, just to answer your question. Our slight tweaks are to bring everyone done to a more level notch. If we were to go and fix everything wrong with the original vanilla wow... things like the Honor System would have to be completely restructured, certain battlegrounds tweaked to make them more fair, class balances brought back in line with some of what happened in TBC ect ect. Keep in mind... Expansions brought a lot of what you are asking for, fixes to the broken parts of vanilla. We are playing the original because we enjoy how raw it was, we enjoyed the crude mold that produced the franchise we so cling to this very day. IF we begin fixing things... we may as well end up going back to live where those changes are made for a "broader audience." We are aware of a teleportation bug with Azuregos, but at this current time... it is 100% blizzlike and remained unchanged for quite some time. If you however feel so inclined as to push forward a change, I recommend you visit our suggestion forums. Our staff does look at those, and bounces ideas off one another to see what can and cant be done. Im sorry you disagree with the Vanilla feel of vanilla... but we are here to play vanilla in all of its brokenness.
