It can take some time for your ticket to make its way through the queue, and for a GM with loot restoration powers to be online at the same time you are.

You can turn on 2FA and forward the email containing your code to your new account (or even print it out).

Use the in-game ticket system to resolve loot issues like these.

MobInfo or MobHealth3 will do this.

Use the stuck > still stuck > page a GM option instead of the issues with a quest option.

Submit a ticket in-game, and try to include the item IDs of the Torch and the quest (10515 and 3454, respectively).

Regarding your second issue, it's been a bug with boats and zeppelins specifically for Mac users since the days of retail (which prompted the birth of Captain Placeholder while Blizzard worked on a fix). As far as I know, the dev team is aware of the bug, but you can always check the bug tracker to be sure it's accurately being reported: https://github.com/elysium-project/server/issues

Please check the terms of use regarding the restoration of characters. It sounds like you deleted one of your characters by mistake?
