I had not played during vanilla and did not do group play until WLK. So I have a question regarding factions and instance access in vanilla. To give an example of what I mean, Horde have Ragefire Chasm while Alliance has Stockades. Alliance has easier access to Deadmines, while horde has easier access to Scarlet Monastery. Does this easier access to SM mean Horde win out in this regard? I'm asking in the context of a PVE realm.

There's guides out there, as well as videos of people leveling priests. But I didn't see any that actually DEMONSTRATED their efficiency. This is probably part 1 of a series that get a newer player started. As luck would have it, I managed to get 2 really bad pulls on camera and survived. That should sell you on the priest class! Anyways, I hope you enjoy. Any feedback welcome as I am a long-term vet of WoW, but new to vanilla.
