If it wasn't overpopulated you wouldn't need increased material spawn/drop rates Vanilla server caps were at 2500, you might get used to Elysium pop being okay, but the game wasn't designed for 6k people online.

Anathema has a much nicer and stable community, Elysium is where all the undead frost mages gank lvl 50's The server is also far from dead. Compared to the overpopulated mess that is Elysium PvP it might seem like it, but the pop is very very healthy in regards to original vanilla numbers.

This should definitely be made against the rules, if it already isn't. The GM might have just misunderstood you or not be qualified enough on said matter, IMO the results would vary if you made a ticket with video proof of the exploit.

Well we play the game today very differently than we did in 2005, consider resolution, addons, ingame settings... If that's a concern, have you tried if disabling addons reduces your CPU usage? You can also switch to a lower tier power consumption profile within Windows.

Hello my dudes, I've been recently somewhat active in the support channel on Discord and there's been a lot of people having issues with their 2FA codes not being accepted. After we got several people troubleshooted on the issue, on the suggestion of Ashlol I've decided to put together this short semi-comprehensive guide on getting it up and running again. Most Android users reported success with going to the app settings (clicking a triple dot, more settings) and selecting 'synchronize with server', or something along those lines - I'm not an Android user, but you can surely figure it out with this information. However the iOS app has no such setting which brings me to the next point, unsuccessful Android users can try this out as well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On iOS, go to Settings => General => Date & Time => Enable "Set Automatically" (MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET), then restart your device, run the app and scan/enter the code from your 2FA activation e-mail again. If the above didn't work for you, try enabling Location Services and restart + rescan again. If you are getting the Contact customer service message / Could not login to World of Warcraft please try again later, your account has been locked out for too many attempts and have to wait for 30 minutes before trying again. This guide is aimed at the Google Authenticator app, you can try to follow similar steps with other apps but no guarantees here. There's two important things to note. 1) Your CPU usage graph might be set to overall utilization, which is the usage per core divided by number of cores, since WoW is a single-threaded game this means even if it maxes out one of your cores to 100% it will show up as 25% on a 4-core processor, realistically more like 30% as the system takes something as well. You can change this by going into the performance tab of your task manager, right clicking the CPU usage graph and select Change graph to > Logical processors. 2) CPU's, unlike GPU's aren't made to max out. The "Usage %" of both of these chips also means slightly different things, in GPU it means how large portion of it's TDP is being consumed, and in CPU it basically means how many calculations of the maximum possible cap are being done each time the clock ticks. When a GPU is at 100% it means it's pumping out as many frames as it can per second, CPU on the other hand gets a static workload to chew through, and if it maxes out it means it's not up to getting that stuff done in time and causes freezing. All in all I wouldn't worry about your CPU being underutilized if it's not causing performance issues for you as it only means the CPU has nothing more to do. Another thing to note is that WoW is an old game and modern CPU's have way broader instruction sets, which the WoW process cannot utilize, especially on Intel that means your game can make use maybe 60% of your clock time at best.

Skinning + LW combo isn't very profitable for leveling, but it eases off your expenses on gear for sure (+ there's something undeniably satisfying in the roleplay value of going out there and making your own stuff to wear from the beasts you slay). If you want to make actual money then Herbalism + Alchemy always treated me nicely.

I wouldn't risk it myself. The best way to make machinima is making your own server anyway, since that gives you godmode tools for manipulating the game world and characters and it's not even very hard these days. Certainly much easier than getting the hang of Sony Vegas and similar tools.
