They closed the realm. Your characters are on Light's Hope if that is what you wish. Otherwise, you'll have to play on their new Nighthaven realm.

That's good of you to do, however there are hundreds of people who will restore their characters and their account information may potential be compromised because the bot they use transmits data in plain text (allegedly), yet the people doing the restorations will have zero clue because there is no communication going on here. I would appreciate it if the Elysium staff would confirm or deny this and provide specifics on what this restoration tool does exactly. Otherwise, I have no intention of using it. And maybe they are fine with that I guess, but whatever.

How about an update on when this merge will be complete? My friends moved to the Lights Hope realms cause they gave up on this, and I may end up joining them soon.

Can you all PLEASE post some more information on how the restoration tool pulls the info from Light's Hope? Am I the only one who seems to care? People are saying the data is not encrypted, meaning your account name and password are transmitted in plain text for a bot to pick up data. Which means it can easily be compromised by 3rd party.

Those two quests don't become available until patch 1.8

Rank 2 is also bugged (SotC), gives higher attack amounts rather than lower, in addition to increased attack speed. On this project, was only max rank fixed?

Just google "Light's Hope" if you want to find the info you looking for.

Leveling with a new Pally, and Rank 1 SotC is still bugged on this project, it deals additional damage per swing rather than decreased damage. Not sure if this fix only applied to other ranks.

You can find your account name by looking into the WTF folder in your WoW directory.

I gave up a while back. They clearly are focused much more on their new server, which is fine if that's the path they want to take, BUT I would appreciate if they were actually upfront about it or communicate SOMETHING. Even if this server ever does come online, i doubt it will have more than 200 at this point - they waited much too long.

Pretty sure Brude was referring to the actual server on Light's Hope, it crashed for a bit around the time he posted. Some people here are still confused and don't understand it is now two separate projects.

LH broke away from Elysium, the admins of both projects have irreconcilable differences with each other. Not gonna happen.

Even if Stratholme actually gets released (still NO update from Dev team after all this time), I would be surprised to see it hit above 500 users. Before the three servers were brought down a couple of weeks ago, the concurrent population peaked at around 200. So I dunno ...

Darrowshire (PvE) on Light's Hope peaks at around 2k population or so on weekends - it's perfect.

I have seen 4-5 new topics created there, even those upvoted highly, deleted within 24 hours. New posts made you deem acceptable are locked after one response. Interview with Crogge was posted and locked so no one can comment. Your reddit was already dead but now you are making it a complete ghost town, it's more censored and controlled then Chinese state media. The reddit on Light's Hope allows free discussion, even when some topics are made that aren't in the most positive manner and people have disagreements with the Devs/GMs. Please consider changing your stance on this.

Huh? How was my statement (which you quoted at the bottom) in any way not sincere or kind? Like you, I was asking for an update. It's been almost 2 weeks since the servers were brought down and the merge was promised, and hardly any communication has occurred since then. It's taken so long that many have moved on to Light's Hope where their characters were copied to - that's just a basic fact.

Yes it does exist, over on Light's Hope, the server was moved a few weeks back. Just google if you want more details...

Technically yes but you'd have to come back to the Night elf zones to do your druid bear quest at level 10. It's honestly quite a pain and I wouldn't recommend it at all. And you don't necessarily need a portal either, you can walk all the way there, but it will take a while.

Not saying they aren't popular in general, just saying for the legacy community, these private servers often lack in numbers every time they are launched - most prefer the PvP atmosphere. As I said, as far as I'm aware (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), Darrowshire is the only current vanilla PvE server up and running that has somewhat decent population numbers on Light's Hope, but even then, only peaking at 1k to 1.5k still isn't that great, and it can be tough to find groups.
