PvE servers are not popular for a reason. If you're looking for one, then Darrowshire on Light's Hope is probably your best bet, it peaks at around 1500 or so during primetime. In fact I'm not even sure any other place offers a PvE vanilla private server at this time.

It doesn't really matter if they are fudging the numbers at this point, some have accused them of this because they used to be open source and no longer are. It's also a concern that not only are these forums mostly dead, but also their reddit is super SUPER dead with constant deleted posts. Compared to the LH reddit/forums which have posts very frequently each day. Honestly it doesn't matter though, if you are having fun, then continue having fun leveling. Whether a server is viable and will survive or not will be determined many weeks after the 'freshness' has gone away once people begin raiding and an actual economy tries to get developed.

Pretty sure it's because only realm up currently is Nighthaven, it's a fresh realm you'd have to reroll on.

I wasn't telling you to switch servers m8, just saying that population wasn't reason for crash. It's a private server, it just happen sometimes.

Uhh... there's a certain other server who's name I won't mention that has over 8000 online... so population isnt the issue, sometimes servers just crash.

You must've said one of the 'phrases' that get you auto-muted (probably mentioned Light's Hope). It's a particularly dumb thing for them to have active, but if you open a GM ticket they'll probably unmute you.

There is no way the server will sustain that amount of population. Hitting less than 2k on a release day on a weekend is pitiful, majority of the players will leave after the "fresh" feeling goes away (just a fact, this affects all new servers, even when Elysium first launched). This server is in danger of being more dead than Anathema (on LH)

Many people play Vanilla to enjoy the journey to 60, even though it is long, it is an adventure with difficulty, and quite frankly, it is people like you that made leveling in retail what it is today (just a joke with no challenge/reward) But again, this server (and it's predecessor) always move forward to be as Blizz-like as possible for Vanilla and have never done faster rates for the past many years, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
