The reason people come here is to get away from faster rate crap and play just like Blizz intended, so yes it is 1x and will stay 1x There are other private servers that offer higher rates if that is what you prefer until Blizz launches their own.

You only need 1.12.1 client. The new server will be patched to 1.2, but that is unrelated to the client you need.

Population of Darrowshire was like 50 when it came back online since everyone went to LH, this is why they merging them all.

The entire reason the merger was announced was BECAUSE of the low amount of population, not the other way around. The reason it is low pop is because everyone went to Lights Hope where their characters are at.

Yeah... this reboot is a bust as expected, majority are staying over at LH. Some gold and a pet in my mailbox wasn't exactly a great incentive either. Just release a fresh new server already.

Your emotions are really getting the better of you. I'm not shilling for WK (unlike you shilling excessively for Shenna/Crogge), but so far LH has been incredibly transparent, with a detailed statement of intent and showing the monthly donations/expenditures log. Who knows what the future holds, but it's very clear your overt bias has clouded your mind from any form of rational thoughts on the matter. -
No I don't think it will make much of a difference, but its still their only chance regardless.

They are doing this because very few returned (as expected), at most around 150 were on Elysium, so they are attempting to bring back more of the LH community. At this point it's their only chance. http://vanillaradar.com/elysium-stats/

Why exactly would I want to make a new account on a server with a couple hundred online at most? Where every zone I go to will be a ghost town? The entire reason I am advising a new fresh server is to bring at least a decent sized portion of the LH population back with an actual incentive.
