Which site did you visit exactly? If you fell for false advertisement (free gold, free levels etc.) that happens regularly on some of the more popular chat channels like Stormwind general chat, chances are you just got your account hacked. The spammers advertising free items if you visit a specific website are just scammers and it is nearly impossible to fall for that, however, some unexperienced players still fall for it on a regular basis. If that is what happened in this particular case, am afraid there's not much we can do. Our hands are tied, each player is responsible for security of their own account.

That is correct. We are safely storing restored characters, on top of that, you will be able to actually use them over here next year (either when we release TBC server or when and if we decide to re-release Stratholme).

Unfortunately, it is not possible to actually use the characters you restored on our server at the givem moment. Moreover, no character transfer are allowed to our only realm - Nighthaven, reason being it is a fresh server and everyone has to level from scratch. You will, however, still be able to use the characters you have restored at some point in future, but for now, they are safely stored in the case something happens to LH.

You need to create both forum and game account, as they are two seperate accounts.

Hi ivanke, have you visited any of the web sites spammers promote on various chat channels? If so, there's a good chance they got your account info, logged in and deleted your characters afterwards. In that scenario, there is not much we can do. However, I advise you to contact a GM in game through our ticket system and get a confirmation from them.

You can restore and/or reset your password from our homepage. https://elysium-project.org/ However, you can not do that if you forgot your account name or an email used for creation of the account. If you logged in at least once, your account name should be in WoW>Wtf>Account (your account ID will be displayed as a folder). Tip of the day: whenever you are creating an account for something, you should write your account info down as soon as possible, that's rule of the thumb so situations like this do not happen.

Our restoration tool still servers a purpose. To be more specific, restored characters could be used at some point if something happens to Light's Hope. Other than that, there's a chance you will be able to use restored characters on our new TBC realm once it comes out.

We do not plan to open a new server at the given time.

No one is forcing you to play on Nighthaven. We would love to have you, but you're free to make a choice. :) Nighthaven will stay a vanilla realm, at some point TBC realm will be released and you guys will be able to make a copy of your character from Nighthaven to a freshly released TBC realm. As far as Stratholme is concerned, Ayalieve pretty much got it right. It was not an easy decision to make, but all of the staff members agreed to take it down. We hoped it would be a success, but keeping it on for like two-three hundred players was just not viable, especially with Nighthaven doing so well. I'm aware of the fact that this whole situation regarding Stratholme pissed some of you and I apologize for that.

The team is working really hard, day and night to ensure you guys can enjoy our server. Keeping the server working flawlessly is not as easy as you might think, but again, we're doing our best. I am sorry for any inconvenience crashes cause. :)

Hi warebero, Nighthaven is a new, reash realm, therefore no character transfers/restorations are allowed at this very moment. You should be able to restore your characters and there is a possibility you could use them once we release our TBC server, but since Stratholme (merged server) has been taken down (more info - https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/58254-important-project-update-03112017/ ) you simply cannot play old characters right now. I encourage you to create a character and join the fun on Nighthaven, we would love to have you! :)

Please refrain from calling out Elysium staff, especially in such a negative manner. I understand you are frustrated and I apologize for any inconvenience closing of Stratholme might have caused. As you are all probably very well aware of, things were just not working out. Elysium staff unanimously made a decision to shut it down as keeping it on just wasn't viable enough at the moment.
