It is not possible to restore a character from Anathema to Nighthaven. Nighthaven is a fresh realm.

Unfortunately, that is not possible for number of reasons, to name one, the servers from different projects do not share database.

Of course you can, it is not against any rules, in fact, people are doing this all the time (higher lvl guildies helping lower lvls with dungeons, quests, certain bosses etc.). Have fun together. :)

Bottom line is, if they implement some major changes (like adding quests from post vanilla time etc.) it is not going to be true vanilla and the whole point of WoW: Classic is thrown out of the window. That is not an opinion, it's a fact. I do, however, understand that some people would like certain changes, but if they want something that was not in vanilla so bad that it will be a deal breaker for them, then vanilla is not for them. Simple as that.

You can not delete an account as far as I know, so if you do not need your second account, just do not use it. Simple as that. :)

Server is pretty stable these days, a crash happens here and there but nothing out of the ordinary, you can log back in immediately. Kind of a unrealistic expectation to want a free to play server that is not p2win to NEVER CRASH, but that's just my opinion. :)

If the problem persists, try closing the game and then launch it again. /resetchat is worth a shot as well. Again, make sure you are lvl 10 at least.

If you have played on one of the prevously active servers (Anathema, Darrowshire, Lightbringer) you should know that those server were shut down and they will merge soon. Once the merged server goes live you will be able to restore and play your character. Until then you have to wait.

You are not able to whisper until lvl 10 or 15, am not sure anymore. That is the reason, once you reach that lvl, you'll be able to whisper.

On top of that, it is not only one person spamming, it's a group of people trying to make some real money off of it, and they are persistent. It is virtually impossible to stop them for good, otherwise it'd be done. Every server on which gold selling could be profitable has them. Just put the seller that is currently spamming on your ignore list and you're good, takes only a brief moment of your time.

I saw them more than once over the past few days as well. I believe they are running some tests, but I could be wrong. The server will be released for sure. We should not be surprised by the fact it is still not online, it takes alot of work to merge three servers and get everything working properly and flawlessly, after all, at this point everything they do is on a voluntary basis as the server does not have a cash shop and money through donations is pocket money. What amazes me is that from some reason they are refusing to update you guys (I am Nighthaven player, not gonna play on Stratholme) with the current situation, positives, negatives, ETA etc. It really takes a minute or two of someone's time to do so, and everyone would be much happier.

The official schedual has been announced, you will have to be patient, there is no way around it. Patience is a virtue. :)

Absolutely not. Why? It is classic, vanilla game and nothing that was not there back in the day should be there once they release the game. In my opinion, everything should be 100% like it was in vanilla, after all it is the "classic" game we're talking about. You have to understand that it is hard to draw the line if they start implementing things to the classic game that were not there originally. Where would it end? Like, for an instance, updated character models, dungeon/raid finders, mounts at lvl 20, guild bank, reduced respec cost etc., if they change so many things that might not seem like a big deal at first, but we'll end up with a game that is basically a hybrid, looks like vanilla, but doesn't feel like it. Not to mention if they screw things up, there's no going back, they screwed them up forever. There's so many questions, and no answers atm, starting from the release date to what patch is the game going to start with so on. One thing is for certain - vanilla fans want vanilla game and nothing else, altering the game in any way and making it less vanilla than it was and more of a Legion like game is going to be a fail. I hope Blizz doesn't mess this up. But then again, they're a huge company with lots of experience and money, they surely know what WoW: Classic means and should mean.

That server has been brought down, as you noticed. It will be merged, along with other servers they had into a new one and you will be able to continue playing on your old characters. There is no official info on when it is going to be, so your guess is as good as mine. At the moment you can only play on Nighthaven PVP realm.

Darrowshire has been taken down. They will merge all three server that existed in the past into new one. You will be able to play on your old character once the merge has been completed and a new server released. At the moment, the only realm you can play on is Nighthaven PVP.

While i'm a pvp player and like the pvp environment and having to be on your toes while lvling, I definetly support the idea of a PvE server for those who don't like that and are strictly PvE oriented. However, how would opening a new PvE server at this point affect freshly released Nighthaven? That's the real concern. Other than that, bear in mind that new realm (merged one) will come at some point, even though the official info on release date has yet to be announced.

While in game, hit Escape button, then go to Interface options. Under the "Basic" tab, there are Camera settings. Uncheck "Follow Terrain" and "Head Bob" if they were checked, or just reset the setting to default by pressing the "Defaults" button in bottom left corner. This should fix it for you, if the problem persists, let me know. :)

Oh mate, can't believe people still fall for this. I'm sorry to hear that. Even if he manages to get into his account, all his items/gold will be gone, that's for sure. So at the very best you will have to contact a game master/devs for help and hope they could restore something. Stormwind is known for spamming about giving xy gold or xy free levels, but it is obvious that it's fake. The problem lies in the fact that these scammers keep making new accounts using different IPs etc, so it is virtually impossible to get rid of them for good.

Kind of a off topic but I just want to say that it is a great weapon, in fact probably the best wep pally can have until mid 30's. But then again, you will outlevel it so fast that quest is hardly worth doing in my opinion. As there are very few people visiting forum every day, you are better off with trying to find a group for that Q in general chat. Best of luck. :)

Vanilla is a struggle in so many ways, that's exactly why I like it. It is indeed not for everyone, especially nowadays with much more player friendly expansions out there to play.
