I guess he ment the end of Nighthaven patch progression when he mentioned the correct patch. That won't be before December 2018 though. I can not confirm this at the moment even though it would technically be possible. You're better off with contacting Rain via Discord for more info on this.

Yes, we will open a TBC server when Nighthaven reaches the end of its progression through patches. While there is no ETA on when exactly is that going to happen, it could be at the very end of 2018 or early 2019. Players will be able to copy their characters to TBC, so they can either keep playing Vanilla or switch to TBC, or play both versions of the game simultenously. As far as WoTLK is concerned, we're a looong way from the day our TBC patch progression will come to an end, so it's really hard to say at this point, but it is definetly something we will take into consideration when the time comes.

You can only use characters that were created on Nighthaven server. Characters from our previously active servers are stored for future use and can not be used at the moment.

There are addons out there that display the pop on each side, but it is pretty even (~49/51) so there in no need to use such addons.

You won't be able to use that or any other characters you might have created in the past if they were not created on Nighthaven server. Nighthaven is our only server and it was released in November 2017. We do not restore characters to Nighthaven, so if you wish to play here you'll have to create a new character, there's no way around it. I apologize for inconvenience.
