Banned - Gold Selling

Hello,

 

Yesterday I was randomly given a large sum of gold from a character named (I think) Daboss. I thought, "Oh, my good fortune." I told him thanks and said that this had never happened to me before. He did not respond.

 

I thought this was random generosity from one of the people who reached 60.

 

I believe he traded gold to other people, too.

 

Anyway, I'm banned now. Didn't sell gold. Didn't buy gold. Bought some rares from the AH, though. 

 

I don't think I should have been banned.

 

Please let me know your decision.

This same thing happened to me. I am waiting for a response also. I was given 454 gold. I also thought it was good fortune. I did not know it would вау me, my friend, and the people i shared the gold with.

Yes, that's precisely what happened. Had just logged on, was standing in front of the Org bank, when an Orc named Daboss opened trade. He just gave me gold. Like in a Swifty video.

Now instead of feeling like a lucky guy, I feel like I was setup.

Why wouldn't we have taken gold from someone who was just giving it away? I hate this. I didn't do anything wrong. There are no banks in this game to be robbed. I was just standing around when a golden goose fell into my lap. Most people would have been as delighted as me. Now I'm being arrested by the Vanilla DEA.

It is karma. You get gold from Universe, but you should give it something in return. In your case it is your character.

You should thank Universe, because you still alive and have good health (i hope).
