Can I install the game now so I can be ready for the new launch?

Basically the question in the title, I'd prefer to predownload this big of a game before it launches due to my download speed being shady.

Yes you can. Just download the client and install addons, test them on another server, i.e Kronos or what not as all addons should work no matter what server you are on for the most part.

 

Just wait for the correct realmlist.wtf to be given out and you should be good to go

Download the client from kronos website or nost website if it still has it, as its a torrent of the folder. Then when the time comes, you can just change the realmlist.wtf file

 I don't know, clean or not client wow from the Kronos website. Because I remember when Feenix had the unique client (this means he only worked on the Feenix, and nowhere in the other server).

for nost i once created a full installation package together with the Nost youtube video instead of the wow vanilla introduction video.

You can Google around for a 1.12.1 client. Please make sure that it's 1.12.1 and NOT 1.12.2 - that version will not work on our server. It's really rare as well, as it only contained some localisation fixes for non English clients if I remember correctly. But we do get a player every now and then trying to connect with that one.

 

Note that if you set up your keybinds and addons on another server, the settings will be stored under the WTF/Account folder for that server only. You need to log-in to our server, so the client creates a folder for us, and the copy over the files. Please remember to delete your WDB folder when you switch servers.

I am using the one from Kronos, have used it multiple times. Its not a unique install as far as I know, I just changed the realmlist.wtf file setting and I was good to go
