ghos7rider 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2016 Hi everyone, Today, while participating in the stress test, I noticed that after you are being ported with zeppelin, you start falling down Eastern Plaguelands (tested both STV and UC zeppelins from Durotar). As far as I can remember, a form of this bug existed but you were just falling down the zeppelin and it was fixed in Nostalrius. This state is more concerning since if you always get ported to EP, it would be a really long walk back.

Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted December 4, 2016 Bug tracker is down for maintenance. I'm hoping it's going to come back up with this particular issue marked as solved and closed. If not, I'll probably be doing some laptop juggling. I used to have a wineskin version that I'd switch to for boats, but I don't feel like wrapping that up again.
ka.ba 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 Yeah it's very weird that the fix on Nost suddenly has disappeared. I'm hoping they have been using some sort of incomplete code during the stress tests and that it will work on release. That bug is so annoying, just thinking about it makes we want to cry. :'(
GhostTiger 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 Keep in mind that the "merge" of Nostalrius is not 100%. The main focus was the player database.
Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 ka.ba..were you the one that sad you had a wineskin version going? If they don't fix it anytime soon maybe me or you could make one for people as a temporary patch. It sucks, but its waaaaaaay better than not having it.

If it's not fixed I could make a tutorial on how to make one.

I have not tested it.
Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 Yeah it does. It's not pleasing to look upon : P I'm trying to remember what specific bugs mine had....hm. There was something. Oh you know what? I'll post my original thread from Nost that explain how to make it, I recall in there discussing some bug. I don't know if you want to go ahead and start working on this now, becaue Bugtracker wll be back up days before the launch...and maybe, just maybe it will have boat bug marked as resolved. : D http://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=2022
Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 (edited) Hm, all we talked about was resolution issues. I swear there was something else like a mouse bug, probably discussed in a different thread somewheres. But that resolution issue could be remedied by copying your mac config file to the windows version before you wrap it up. I found it. here was an awful mouse bug, here it is in this link with the solution: http://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=32115&hilit=package+contents Edited December 10, 2016 by Ellipsea
Haylee 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2016 I am currently playing on another server since I have not had the opportunity of ever playing on Nostalrius (noticed its existence too late). This server has the boat/zeppelin bug fixed for Mac users. It is a delight to know you can safely travel between continents. I plan on starting playing on the Nost PVE server, but this bug (which seemed to be there during stress test) could be a real let down. Therefor I hope this is fixed before release (or will be fixed shortly after release). Greetings, Haylee
