Same email on Nost+old Elysium account

Recommended Posts

So according to the FAQ, I can only create 1 account per email. But the email tied to my Nost account is the same as my Elysium account from previously. The way I read it, I will be investigated for account sharing if I create a new Elysium account with different email  to transfer my characters? Is this bad? I don't want to get banned - what should I do?

The email does not matter. As long as the account names are different, you should be able to transfer fine. Simply register a new game account with a different username.

GM's feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :-)

Q: My Elysium and Nostalrius account names are the same, is that a problem?

A: No. You will transfer your characters to a new Elysium account. Check major announcements and social media for details.

But according to the Elysium account creation page:

If you are planning to transfer either Nostalrius or Elysium characters to your new account, we advise you to use the same e-mail you used on your previous account. If you do not do so, your account will be flagged for investigation of potential account trading in the future.

Note: The email you choose has a unique constraint in that you cannot register more than one account with the same email.

But according to the Elysium account creation page:

I see. In that case, you can create a new Elysium game account under the same email. You will not be investigated due to it being an old Elysium account.

Q: Can old Elysium players use their accounts?

A: No, everybody needs to create a new Elysium account.

Hope this helps. :-)

So, you are saying that if I have an old Elysium account I can also create a new Elysium account with the same email?

They don't make a distinction between old and new.

If you haven't created a new Elysium account yet, I advise you do so.

You shouldn't be investigated due to the account creation dates.

Thanks for the being helpful, but you are missing the point - they are saying you can't have more than one account per email, and my Nost email already has an account associated.

That I "shouldn't" be investigated isn't really an answer, they already said it would be flagged for investigation.

but they saying to use a gmail account and make a new elysium account....so if you didnt use gmail for nost but need to be verified on ely (create a ely account with a gmail account) then youll be flagged apparently.. holy tits this is messed up

Hi there Mbee,

Let me try and sort this out for you, if I understand correctly. Also thanks Fizzle for your input!

First off, if you have both an old Elysium account & an old Nost account, you cannot combine the two. You'll have to choose which email you want to transfer your Nost characters to. Preferably the same as your old Nost account email to avoid potential flagging for account sharing. The more information that matches up the better.

Secondly, I wouldn't be concerned about being investigated for anything - as long as you're innocent. We have very accurate systems to detect various violations of the ToU. If you're not account sharing, you have nothing to worry about.

So what do you need to do now? If you want to play on both accounts, you need to make 2 new accounts for each. Then use the transfer tokens on each account, to the new Elysium servers. Unfortunately you cannot combine.

Any other questions - let me know!

Kind Regards,
Elysium Staff.

Hi,

I created a new Elysium account with my mail

I receive my token from Nostalrius on the mail wich is the same above

I can't unlock my Ely account because I never received a confirmation mail ... try 2 times in 1 hour (not in spam neither)

Do I try a third time or is there any problem with mail confirmation ?

Thank You :)

Hi Templiers,

What email provider do you use?

Currently we're having an issue with our verification emails not being picked up by certain email providers. Make sure to check your junk/spam/deleted folders in your email. We're working on a fix for this situation and should have some answers shortly.

Also I would not suggest trying to resend the confirmation email until we have this resolved.

Kind Regards,

Elysium Staff.

Thank you for your help - I wasn't interested in playing the other account. But I think I understand now. I was able to make the transfer.
