Best way to download client?

The u-torrent program has been registered under malicious content in my firefox browser. Is it safe to download the program so I can torrent the vanilla client? If not, how else should I download the vanilla client? There are several options in the download section of the Elysium website - WoW (English): Torrent | Yandex Disk| Mega Disk. Which one should I choose? Is u-torrent still a safe program or should I download through another site and if so, how do I proceed? Thank you.

Has anyone been able to get the Mac download completed? MEGA only lets you download around 84% and then says you need to wait 6+ hours before it will let you download more but the wait time keeps resetting back to 6+ hours no matter how long I wait. If I close it and come back it makes me download from the beginning, creating the same problem. Could we please just get a torrent of it put on PB or the same site the PC version is on?

I opened it and got to this point.. I don't see a 'realmlist.wtf' to edit. Am I missing something from one of those other files on your list?

How big is the file?

So where can I play? All four realms on the elysium server are offline. Which realmlist do I enter? I heard the old servers are up until Elysium releases the fresh ones. I just want to play.

Nost Pve and PvP will be released on the 17th of Dec.  The fresh realm's release date will be announced on the 25th.

Yes that will work.  throw away WTF folder and WDB folder and follow the instructions from the link from Pottu I posted above in creating a new game account.

Hey guys,

 

I registered today to download the client but when I clicked on the different links it's not working. Basically on Yandex it is saying "A complaint was received regarding this file; access has been blocked" and on MEGA it is saying that the file is no longer available. Is there someone having the same problem or even the solution?

It appears the only one working from Pottu's post is the torrent file now.  The others have been removed at the source.  I'm sure there's lots of other places to go for wow 1.12.1

It's been pointed out to not use utorrent for a couple reasons..although Ive used it just fine on Mac.  but here's a cross platform one to look at too.

I would recommend Deluge as a torrent client , but to each their own   ( anything but utorrent )

Retro-wow also has a 1.12 client , I suppose it's not been altered and works just fine here : MEGA Download

 

I'm supposing both of these are working here ( as they should ) and don't have any "hardcoded" wow.exe redirect.
