[Reporting Thread] Missing Characters after the Transfer done right from Nost

I'm actually missing many characters on my multiple Nost accounts.
I've also would like to know why, after having initially told us that we could retain every character from Nost, this answer popped up suddently:

Accounts with a level 1- that were not bank alts may have been wiped. A lot of proportion their level 1s gone, but nobody complaining about bank alts missing, so assuming your alt account toon is bye bye. Do your best to remember your main toon account name if your WTF was cleared.

 

Myself, who I RPed at the time, got many low level characters, and used them as alt bank too to store resources I farmed with my main ones.
To me isn't even logic deleting a Lvl 1, and not a lvl.5 bank alt especially if the owner is/will be active during launch (as he was on the old Nost servers) and in general those accounts are logged frequently and used.

You could at least retain all these accounts until the PvP/PvE servers launch and delete the unused ones only after that, so that everyone can still have access to their own alts.

I'm not aware any accounts were wiped because of level of toons in them.  Not sure where undertanker got that from, accept maybe reasonable deduction.  But I'd be hard pressed to find an official Nost thread where they said they were going to wipe accounts for no reason other than level of toons.

 

The more important issue seems to be people who:

Don't realize they have more than one account

Don't remember what toons are on what account

Are confusing account name and PW across several accounts

 

....in other words, user error type stuff.

 

There does appear to be a subset of people with missing toons and I don't think any of those were wiped from the Nost side, there's no reason to think that yet.  It seems, at this time, most likely some type of translation issue with the tokens.  

 

I'm sure we'll eventually have an official word.

I hope so, to me all this issue seems strange too.
But still I have to found a way to retrieve at least those characters already leveled I'm missing.

I'll also wait for an official answer to this, before the servers launch.

I  had one Nostalrius account and after transfer i am showing two horde characters but my alliance toons are missing one being my main warlock level 40. Whats more control panel has me as Nostalrius PVP when i only ever played on the PVE server.

Ok, I'm also faced same issue. I had only 1 character on my account. I've managed to transfer my account from Nostarius and my only character is not shown on a control panel ("You don't have any character yet!").  How to solve this one?

@chivelip you check your game folder on your computer and in your WTF folder make sure you didn't have a 2nd account by chance that you used which had your main on it?

 

If you did a transfer token with a level 1 that you never logged on with, just created for a name reserve, it may be that account and that unused level 1 may have been removed.

There was a 49 lvl hunter there. The thing is that i have new computer now and such kind of information is lost. I'm pretty sure that i had only 1 account.
