flinxsl 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2016 I have several nost accounts I am trying to transfer over, but registered them with burner emails except for my main account which is my main email address. I tried making new permanent email accounts for my other accounts, but never got a confirmation email. Then I tried making an account with a burner email from 10minutemail.com and immediately got a confirmation email. I don't want to use this method for accounts I care about, so how can I receive confirmation emails to (new) permanent email addresses? 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Work around I found: 1) register account 2) click control panel to go to log in screen 3) click "forgot password" 4) it will successfully send a password reset email 5) click the link, you can use the same password as before 6) log in and click "resend activation email" 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

This finally worked after constantly trying to get the verification done since Monday and never receiving the mail (I have one of the mentioned troubling providers). Did you all create Elysium accounts using the same username you had used previously on Nost, but with a different password? That was my particular circumstance (I don't like having the same password on multiple accounts, but I do re-use usernames).
