<Sprite> [A] Wed/Thurs Optional Sunday @ 9:00 EST 3:00 ST

Raid Times: Wednesdays, Thursdays and optional Sundays at 9:00 EST. Dire Maul Buff groups start around 8:00.

These are the first raids we have recorded on Nost 2. Lots of room for improvement but a solid start for a rebuild raid group.

Progression on Nost 1.0
MC 10/10 best time was 56 minute clear
Ony 1/1 ~20 man once per week
BWL 8/8 no wipes ~1:30 clear time

Guilds in WoW have a variety of goals. No single guild will ever fit every person's play style, social needs or progression goals. The core of Sprite has found that we value playing together and growing as a group more than any other element of this game. Make no mistake, clearing all raid content in a single night and progressing through AQ and NAXX in the future is the immediate goal of this group. Where we differ is how we choose to pursue this objective.

We previously raided under the Surge tag. In Surge many of us went from fresh 60's who had for the most part never raided together to clearing BWL in two months time. One of the greatest challenges facing a progression guild is the fact that not all players progress at the same rate. When our raid went through progression on the first server it help shape the type of guild we aspire to be. Everyone in our raid enjoys playing the game at the highest level, and the majority of us have proven by actions that we value the raids health over an individual's gear, power, or gold.

Before Nostalrius shut down we had recently completed a 56 minute Molten Core without world buffs and had BWL on autopilot. We were very close to getting our clear times to where we could be clearing Ony/MC/BWL on the same night before AQ drops. We have an active discord and a diverse and funny group. Some have been playing together for years and others are just now finding us on the new server.

There is something special about vanilla when you find 40 people with a common goal and experience your guild's progression and achievements together. We are determined to maintain a consistent raid group in Vanilla who values playing together first, and crushing raids second. Clearing PvE content is immensely easier than building or finding a group you will enjoy playing with for years at a time.

We play hard. Consumables are expected and DM-N buffs are strongly encouraged. What you will not find with Sprite is negative criticism, closed social circles or drama. One thing we all have in common is none of us work all day to come home and act like a teenage girl behind a computer screen. We all recognize criticism is a necessary ingredient to growth, but there is a clear distinction between constructive criticism and tearing other players down. If you enjoy acting like a child, or if you are a child, then this guild is not for you.

If you are interested in joining us and our raid times work for you, make a point to talk to some of our members. Run some instances or hang out in our Discord for a day or two. We care more about the type of people we play with and their commitment to the group than your current gear or raidstats.

We are always working to strike a balance between a fun and enjoyable atmosphere and a focused raid that is determined to improve each week. This may mean some players are occasionally asked to sit out of raids due to a lack of gear, space, performance or consistency considerations. We are looking to build a finely tuned boss killing machine, and to do that requires constant improvement and accountability. If you choose to spend your time with Sprite you will be guaranteed a place in our community but you will always have to earn your raid spot.

Looking for more chill people to head into AQ with. We won't turn away solid apps from people who are gearing pre-raid or leveling either.

Raid nights are Wed/Thurs/Sunday from 9-12 EST. Sunday is a optional/low prio raid night while current content is on farm (currently). We may attempt 40-man progression in AQ on Sundays depending on turnout.

+ to girls covered in Sprite. It's sexier than Surge.
