Cannot reset password

Hello. I am trying to reset my password but I cannot remember what my old password is for Elysium. I can't reset it on the forums or on https://elysium-project.org/control. I put in my username and e-mail, click send, and it cycles me back to the page and I don't get an e-mail.

 

1) Yes I searched for similar topics, nothing matched.

 

2) I made this account not long ago, I really do not understand how I could have forgotten the password.

 

3) I can successfully get my token from Nostalrius using my old Nostalrius password. This "lost password" is specific to my Elysium password.

 

4) Yes I've checked my junk mail as well. There's nothing there.

 

5) The reason I am able to post this is [obviously] because I haven't logged out of the forums yet.

 

6) I did not find a place where I could submit a "ticket" directly but that's what I would have preferred rather than posting a forum thread. I don't think there's anyone that can help me aside from an administrator.

When is "not long ago" for making your account?   Also note that your forum account and "Play now" account are not the same.

 

Make a new account there and you won't have issues.

Just to clarify, I was able to log in on the actual server with a password of some sort after I created my account for the stress test.

 

I've also got the same account associated to my same e-mail address.

 

At this point I just want to reset the password to something I can actually remember. I wish there were a better venue to do that than openly on the forums but alas.

 

Edit: Nevermind, what you suggested totally worked. I'm just a failure.

Use the reset password feature and try a different browser ensure pop-up blockers are off.

I just wanted to mention that your follow-up suggestion to use a different browser is how I was able to get everything to work in the event anyone else stumbles upon this thread. I tried to use it that method to change my password the first time but I did not work, however, it did fix the problem I had creating an account. So good help work Thundertaker. What a resourceful individual you are!
