Warlocks And Mages - Alliance or Horde

Hello everyone

Iam concerned about how many Warlocks & Mages on both factions , iam really interested in those two classes but i want to play the class that is least played

so anyone have any idea?

if you don't mind : Do locks compete with mages in terms of gear?

Yes they do.   Though not in all slots.   But a good portion of them.  When you have ZG out, chest legs boots are crafted set so no competition there.   You can use 3/8 T2 so no cross competition there. 

 

Rings you'll want hit ring from BWL and +shadow damage ring until AQ20 you get another +hit ring.  Let the mages get the rings of spell power since they don't need the hit ring as badly and they can get a similar ring in aq40 with +crit on it instead. (their aq20 ring isn't as good, referring to aq40 random drop one)

 

When AQ is out, you'll get a token item for your T2.5 helm / shoulders.    

 

You'll compete in BWL for bracer, but with aq release you get better bracers from reputation.   Trinkets you'll compete.   Weapons, when starting you can get staff off jindo for 2 easy +hit which mages will not be interested in, but other than that you will compete for weapons.    Cape and neck you'll compete with mages.
