Ivarss 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2016 So i was working on increased graphics through the use of Model edit files and a post processing program called Reshade.I read this from the TOU "Hacks; accessing or altering the Game code, memory, packet data, software and/or any component or feature thereof, which changes and/or facilitates the game-play." Since the model edits and shaders does not change gameplay what so ever. Are these allowed? If they are allowed i will make a guide as how to get em downloaded and how to get the Shaders started. Personally i love this kind of thing. Breathing new life into a old game is wonderful and thats what we are all here for isnt it?
dabura9000 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2016 No this is against the TOS you cannot change the game files in any way or you could get banned. This question has been answered on previous threads pal
Shayss 43 Report post Posted December 17, 2016 It doesn't matter if it doesn't effect gameplay. The anti-cheat and the GMs can't tell the difference. You use it, you get banned, you will need to start from scratch. This has also been covered in other posts.
Ivarss 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2016 (edited) Just saw the other threads now.Its a shame really. Would love to be playing with some enhanced graphics and it was working fine on nostalrius with both reshade and model pack. I rather have shitty graphics than cheaters though so i guess it comes with a pinch of salt. Edited December 17, 2016 by Ivarss
dabura9000 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2016 This is what makes NOS so great, no exeptions. I would love to play with the newer character models, but its not worth the ban
