Make Azeroth Great Again

Black Metal/Dungeon Synth/Epic Fantasy

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I have two hobbies: video games and music. Specifically Black Metal and Fantasy Music. When I first started playing wow I enjoyed the music in the game, but as time went on it began to bore me and I would turn off the game music and listen to my own. Now, I'm an explorer of the Black Metal genre, but the one band I always come back to is Summmoning.

Summoning has always created an atmosphere while playing video games so with Elysium going online and the current release of "A Homage to Summoning - In Mordor Where The Shadows Are" The timing couldn't be more perfect. Almost 3 hours of various artists take on Summoning's original music. If you've never heard summoning I would suggest listening to their full discography, start with Minas Morgul and go forward from there.

If you dislike unintelligible vocals I would suggest searching for Dungeon Synth. One of the best releases from this year is Thangorodrim's "Taur-nu-Fuin"

Suggestions:

V.A. - In Mordor Where The Shadows Are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhQsgmht9Es

Summoning - Minas Morgul (1994) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JgLFdNSwks

Thangorodrim - Taur-nu-Fuin - https://thangorodrimsynth.bandcamp.com/

This is all I'll suggest for now. Keep the eternal flame alive.

This, isn't quite my kind of music but the other two songs are really good to level to :)
