Cannot Login

I know servers are not open quite yet but my friend has transferred his Nost account over and can at least hit the realm selection when logging in, I am getting a bad username/password message when I try to log into the game server.

 

Is this expected? 

 

Can anyone else hit the server list with a fresh account?

I can't get the correct loging/pw either and can't get to realm selection at all, appears my pw is wrong but I'm not sure that's the case.  I'm using the same info I didn when I registered on the site.

I have the same issue. Seems to be a regular problem, we may be among the unluckies who have to wait a while longer before getting in.

They said on twitter and on reddit that they shut the servers down to fix people missing gear and experiencing rollbacks.

 

I too just get an instant disconnect after just seeing the retrieving character list popup right when servers "launched".

When logging in, it just says the information is not valid.  I don't see any sort of server selection or anything. its the same info I am using when I created the account.

 

Normally it would take us to a server select where we can see the servers are down, but we are not able to get past that.

Yeah, it's strange because I can log into the site just fine with the credentials, not the forum but the actual site.

We are talking about a different issue than being instantly disconnected. Dealing with "incorrect credentials" we were never able to log in even when the servers were online

think i have the same problem i got: the information you entered is not valid.... i changed the realmlist to the elysium realmlist, but cant find any patchlist to enter in realmlist...i download the new wow.exe from elysium page.and enter right realmlist still , bla bla is not valid. cant even choose the damn serverlist...wtf is wrong for me? have clearly missed something ??

So I created an Elysium account, got the confirmation email and clicked to register the email and user name, I copy pasted my token. Now I cannot log in, shows incorrect credentials! Reset PW does not work, I cannot create a new account and transfer my character because it says my token was used. And I cannot resend the Elysium account activation email because it shows it was created successfully... Could use some help!

I remember them saying if you make your new account with a different email to what your old account used you'll be flagged for review. Maybe related? Not sure why reset pw wouldn't work...

I have the same Issue Gyute. Its frustrating yes but my guess is they don't know the exact problem as of yet.

It definately seems to have something to do with Newly created accounts trying to login to the game not having the correct "credentials" even tho it works for loggin into the website and such.

Update: So after no luck all night i decided to try again this morning. after it didnt work, I decided to try and register my info again on the site. The exact same info i gave the first time to register:

Weirdly enough after doing this a second time it seems to have went through and worked. Now when i login I get the message " Your account has been closed"

I assume this is because i only need to confirm my account verification Via email now. It seems those emails aren't currently going out as I have yet to receive one, possibly due to the website being down (hopefully...)

Once i verify the email i will update again. (hopefully soon....)

I also created a new login, verified it, and tried to log in and i get an instant "disconnected" 

 

Is it possible that the people having issues need to download client?

Your client should be fine. This thread is regarding people who cant verify their accounts which it looks like you have already done.


Your issue seems to be seperate (i think)

Update: Alright so after trying several different hotmail email address's with no luck, i tried one last time with my Gmail account. Maybe it was coincidence or luck, but i instantly received my verification email and was able to login after using my gmail account.

Feel free to keep trying your normal Email addresse's but if your having no luck like i was, consider creating a Gmail account and using that as your registered email address.

I have received the email and verified my account, yet I still get the invalid information message.

 

I can't be the only one that this is happening to.  I KNOW I have everything set up properly I have tried a fresh client and multiple attempts to connect.  Surely this is an issue that can be fixed I just need to know how or why multiple fresh accounts will not work.
