"The information you have entered is not valid." Login problem!

Downloaded mac client from reddit forum post, can't download the one from Elysium as it's been taken down.

 

Wow opens, try logging in with Elysium account details (which I know are correct), have changed the realmlist - everytime it displays the message below:

 

"The information you have entered is not valid. Please check the spelling of the account name and password." etc.

 

What have I done wrong?

I had this issue as well, I think for me it was due to the fact I had a very complex long password with a lot of special characters that I think screwed up the hash on the logon server.

 

My password would work on the site control panel https://elysium-project.org/control but would not work to login the game.

 

After making a new account with a not so complex/long password I could log in no problem.

Was there ever a resolution to this, I'm receiving the same error.  Its a fresh account, but seems to keep saying the above.  password isn't especially complicated.

I've been hitting up against this for the past few days. When I added 2fa, it would ask for the 6 digit code first, but then still give me the error. I can login to the control pannel without issue, so I know I have my username/password correct. I attempted a connection to kronos, which worked without issue. After changing back from kronos, I deleted the wdb and wtf folders, but still no dice. I can't figure out whats going on.

Just had this bug hit me as well.

Was in the Wetlands..  Looked like I was lagging out.  I crashed to log in screen, now I am getting the password error.

Holy cow, I was freaking out...

 

So, after that scare - I am now hooked up with the 2fa... I changed my password as well. If I changed my password on the website then my login to game server would change to the new password too, correct?

me too, according to the website my account doesn't even exist anymore.

Just got back safely with everything intact. <HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF>

 

To answer my own question: Yes, if you change password on website it will change the login on game server.

Only way to change it is to log-out - then go back to Control Panel - Forgot Password - Enter New Passwords
