Cannot connect. says "Connecting" for 10-20sec then "Disconnected from server"

Recommended Posts

As the title says, I can't connect.

It does not matter what I write in the pw and acc fields, the outcome is always "connecting" following by "disconnected from server".

I've tried to use my friends working account and it says the same.

Tried deleting WTF and WDB folders.

Tried using my friends realmlist.wtf file.

Tried to remove .wtf from the file

When I change to another server in realmlist.wtf (kronos), it is possible to connect.

I don't know whats wrong and im desperate for answears D:

Thanks in advance. :)

Have you selected a pvp or pve server out of the 4 servers ?Because a lot of people pick the QA test servers by mistake and get auto disconnections.

Someone also told me that by running wow.exe under compatibility mode for windows xp it fixed the issue for them.

@lurker

I cant get past that "connecting" screen, so I have not gotten to the realm list :P
I will try that when I get home, but don't think that will work. Prob some issue with closed ports on IP, no idea.
Hope this get fixed soon.

Same issue here. Have gotten through a few times trying over and over again but no luck today. Wish we knew what was wrong with so many people playing no problem has to be a simple fix

I originally could get in, but now it immediately sends me to "Disconnected from server" when I try to log in. I know this happened initially when the first banwave happened due to the DDoS at startup, but that got fixed for me pretty quick. Is something like that happening again?

Works fine now. Not sure what's going on.

I has this all day yesterday. Today, it moves to authenticating, but then disconnects again.

I've tried the given options. Nothing is working.
