Which platform would you choose for streaming?

Recommended Posts

I have this 3 choice's :

Twitch, where you could get banned - if you grow a little (talking about viewer base)

youtube - which is nice, while people watch your highlights they can see if you went live, I'm not sure about chat

and other options , seems limited, never streamed on yt.

Hitbox.tv is nice - but not many people go there to watch streamers.

Which one would you go with?

The thing is, You can't get banned for streaming private server as long as you're not partnered with twitch. So as long as you're not partnered with twitch i would go with that.

The problem i feel with youtube is, that its almost as hitbox, people dont go to youtube to watch streams, i've never heard someone say "Oh imma watch this dude livestream on youtube" but i feel that it has potential to grow

Hitbox is just a big no for me.

I would go with Twitch, if not Youtube!

I've heard of a lot of wow vanilla streamers getting banned on twitched. Go with YouTube gaming, that seems to be the choice as of lately, and no one is reporting problems as of yet.

Both Alexensual and Payo didnt get banned for streaming private servers, Alex got banned for harrasing, Payo for porn (24h ban) So no permanent, and we have more people like Moo_uk who is actively streaming on Twitch without any problems.

One thing i did notice was that some people stream under the WoW section and some dont.

I'd say twitch is safe until you get partenered
