Lost gold

Today i logged in having 4 silver instead of the 1500 gold+ that i had last night when i logged out. I'm not account sharing or anything so how is that possible?

Perhaps you've downloaded an addon that contained a virus. It has happend before to people on Nostalrius.

same for me. Playing without any addons. and found myself with 90s instead of the 180+ (also my AH was checked as i can see. cuz there's no lots and no mails from AH). so I've got suspiciuos that someone logon under my account and steal all of it. It was fine like 12 hours ago. Now it's gone.

Btw, to change the password you click on "Forgot password" when you log in on the website, you will get a mail, and the reset it with a new one.

I logged on today and was not in the place where I logged out (as far as I can remember) and only had about 1g left, whereas I should have a whopping amount of about 40. I'm not missing any items, though.

My friend has confirmed seeing me online during the hours i was asleep. I have never shared my account info. It would be nice to get in contact with the staff, maybe we can track the IP

I logged on today to find my gold gone as well. All of my chars parked at mailboxes, I used the same info on Old nost as well.

I talked with a gm today, he said that they won't do anything about lost gold, "you are responsible of your own account security"...

Hi all,

 

Sorry to hear you're having this issue. Unfortunately we don't seem to be able to detect a common thread of missing gold amongst players - so we're fairly certain it's not a database/realm side issue. Only possible option is your account has been compromised by whatever means.

 

I would strongly suggest changing your password on the control panel by clicking "Forgot your password" - and checking all AH and mailboxes to verify that the gold isn't tucked away.

I've also lost all my gold. Im 100% positive i had around 78g when i logged out yesterday. Played this morning, didnt notice if the gold were there or not.

But tonight, when I logged in, all I had left was 0g0s28c. But my character was standing in the exact same spot. Wierd.. Nothing else is missing I think.

 

I actually downloaded a new addon yesterday from Legacy-logs.com though, I think that is made my Shino here on the forums.
