Westac/Alliance Rogue - Nost PVP Ninja'd Core Hound Tooth

Deja Vu hosted a Molten Core tonight and sadly had a rogue, Westac, ninja loot the Core Hound Tooth from another Pugger who won the roll. I thought I would share some log screenshots from the event and spread the word so that future pugs or guilds can avoid this person.

Gookuu rolled a 60, but was looted the mail bracers.  Were there two rolls going on at once?

 

What class was Supernove?  Was he rolling on bracers or dagger?

Part of the confusion may have been related to the server shutdown in 5 minutes, trying to get the loot out before it was lost.

Supernove is a rogue in DV. He's a recent addition, and he received permission from his class lead before the raid/informed officers he was switching to daggers even though he had swords equipped.

Problem is he didn't announce it to the raid as a whole and we had a few PUGs due to holidays, so when CHT dropped we were forced to disqualify him, as otherwise it would look to the PUGs like we were just trying to sneak loot to one of our own and ignoring the MS>OS rule.

We were in the middle of explaining that, and about to award CHT to Mahnju before Westac ninja'd it.

There was absolutely no justification for it, he himself admitted he was ninjaing it and he had lost the roll. We still had 5 minute left before the shutdown which was plenty of time, and even if he were afraid of losing the item, it was never his to lose in the first place.

We heard afterwards about an incident recently with him in another guild's MC PUG where he took Brutality Blade under suspicious circumstances, so we're obviously pretty pissed.

Destroys the integrity of a server if people can just ninja without any consequences from staff, so hoping something gets done.

I don't think it's on GMs or anyone to do anything about every Ninja incident (there are probably multiple incidents a day). All the community can do is black ball the guy and let it be known if you see him in a group the shady фекал he's done to the point where no one wants to run with him

I did play on Warmane casually for fun after Nost shutdown and I witnessed their team ban accounts for all kinds of things, including stealing (with proof). As much as I like that idea, I don't expect it. I agree that it is up to the community, as Kastle said. 

Balthomas answered why Mahnju (PuG) won the roll and was supposed to get the Core Hound Tooth over Supernove. As for Gookuu (Warrior), he a slow poke and finally spoke up about the bracers before they were melted because no one else needed/wanted them. His rolled late and just to roll (herp derp moment).

Also like to add, if it wasn't obvious enough with the time stamps, that the pictures I shared are out of order. The bottom log is first, starting at 22:49:00, and the top is second, ending at 22:51:26.
