Autoban Problem

Dear GMs

I, and a fairly large number of people, have noticed that a fair amount of people have been recently and immediately banned (myself included), and I've also noticed that not a lot of the problems have been fixed. It has been noted that a bunch of people are likely banned due to having the same login info as they had on another private server that was recently hacked and information got stolen (myself included). The easiest fix to this, in my opinion, would be to do a simple IP address login cross reference. If someone creates a ban appeal provide them with information on why the ban is in place. If it was because of gold farming and they say it was a hack then take a look at the IP addresses of their logins. If all but the last one matches then congratulations it was part of the hack and they person is not at fault. 

Now keep notes of these IP addresses that were used as part of the hack from accounts that claim they were, you will most likely notice a trend of the same IPs showing up on other accounts that have stated they were hacked.

The reason I'm bringing this in as a simple solution is because this happened to me previously on another private server. I mentioned I was hacked, they cross checked my IP address with the one that had the most recent login, however that wasn't enough to get the ban lifted. What caused the ban to be lifted is that as soon as they checked the last login IP they noticed it was an IP that they had flagged as a hacker and thus gave me my account back after I had changed my password to a much more secure one.

This is meant with the utmost respect and mainly as a simple suggestion/possible solution.

That doesn't solve or answer any of the aforementioned problems. If changing passwords got my account unbanned I would be playing already, alas it does nothing except make the account that you can't play from more secure ie. pointless unless the ban is lifted
