Wondering why I'm banned?

I've maybe played for 2 hours and somehow I get banned? Didnt do anything besides quest I don't know how I couid be banned.

This looks like a bug on Elysium side, I was banned 2 days ago overnight and was then shortly unbanned.

Again this morning I'm banned at the same time as prior, not sure what's triggering this as my account has not been compromised.

The ban appeals sub section has also been taken down.

Ok so im not the only one! This is my exact same situation. Was banned during the DDOS issues on the 27th, unbanned and played yesterday on the 28th, and now I'm banned again tonight on the 29th/30th.

Exactly these timelines, maybe the protection against brute forcing Elysium speak of results in a temp ban?

If that is the case They really should send and Email, or notify us some how when this has happened. Getting banned with no explanation is rather upsetting.

Nope, you are not alone :(   I'm in the same boat as you..   The only thing I can think of that I have done is I play on a Windows Desktop, and then also on a MacBook pro....

lol Doing Deadmines power outage, when i tried to log back in said my account was banned. :(

I'm sure there is a problem with their login servers due to DDOS attacks, would explain why you only get banned notification when you try to log back in to game.

Seeing the reply one of the community managers left on Reddit has made me have a different look at this server. Just very uncaring.

There are thousands of accounts, new server launching soon which will bring more players, constant ddos attacks, rival private server db leaks, people with non unique passwords etc.

I think we can cut them some slack all things considered, especially as they don't have an army of workers to address all issues as is the case with Blizzard.

Keep your expectations realistic.

Looks like its been made private. but you can still start a new topic to make an appeal. Just scroll up to the top of the thread here and below the bar on the left youll see a "Help and support" section. It can be found there.

Is there a DDOS attack currently happening? No mention of it on the website.

Yup same exact thing happened to me! Came back from holidays to a banned account on the 28th, changed password that day but still unable to log in. 29th I was able to login with that new password, did some leveling. Today, 30th, banned account again. I changed my password Again, just incase, but it seems like some sort of bug like you are saying with brute force protection maybe?

Many of us have the same issue.  I suggest we have some patience.  We either get unbanned (again) or not - in which case we move on.

These are realistic expectations. It is not the fault of the players they decided to release a patch during the start which broke many things and set them back. Everyone knew for months that Kronos and other servers were going to DDos, its what they do. That stuff removed from the situation and you wouldn't have much of an issue. This is a situation of biting off more than you can chew.

So people are getting banned randomly throughout the day, doesn't look right.
