It's for their own good, basically. A relative handful, sure. Most are people who didn't update their passwords when Nost DB was compromised. So a few hundred suffer while thousands benefit. It wasn't hacked, i made a joke in my guild chat saying "They must make money at those retarded prices, if i sold my gold for $4 per 25g i'd be loaded" - Instantly was muted, then got banned around 25 minutes later. The bot to ban would need more than just a single chat message. Look at all the threads about being muted for gold selling jokes and none of them are banned so there must be something more, something special about your account. There was nothing else, i quite literally got banned whilst i was logged in, and had been logged in for around 12 hours.
