Common solutions to the 'Disconnected' error and English client download links

I've had to post this in reply to a lot of players now and it has solved the issue for most of them. I thought that rather than replying every time, I would make this a separate post. Hopefully this helps you with your problem!

 

Firstly, ALWAYS check to see if the realms are online. The realm status is displayed live here: https://elysium-project.org/status

 

Have you registered a game account here?: https://elysium-project.org/play

If you have, is the account verified? If you are not receiving a verification email, please register an account with gmail as other providers are not going through instantly.

 

If you have registered your account correctly, are you using the vanilla wow client? You can download them here:

Have you edited the realmlist.wtf folder so that it says 'set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org' inside? Make sure that the file type is .wtf and not wtf.txt. If you are still having problems doing this, please download and replace your current realmlist file with this one:

This problem could be related to your config.wtf not targeting the correct realm. To solve this:

Open your config.wtf file in the WTF folder, and look for a line beginning with SET realmName.
Change the value to "Nostalrius PvP" (or PvE) and login again - or add the line if it doesn't already exist.
