Can't log in (not because of maintenance, other issue I need help with) Please read

Hi

I can't log in. I've created an account yesterday. I received the confirmation by email from Elysium and I can log in on the web site. So name and password are fine.

But on the launcher it always says that the information are invalid. I thought I didn't install it right with the "realmlist.wtf" file trick. But this morning when I've tried, it said disconnected. Then I saw the maintenance period. So I realised that I'm connected to the right server, cause now that it is live again, it says again information is invalid.

Spelling is right to log in, tried several times, tried to change the password, etc. Still can't log in, I always get a "the information you've entered is invalid, please check blah blah blah".

Can someone help ?

Can you copy and paste the text document in your WTF folder called config.wtf

I have the same problem i even asked a friend of mine to send me hes config file and i still cant log in. so i replaced the one i had. get the same error and ive tried all the things u have aswell.

Also you need to use WoW.exe, not Launcher.exe, just in case. Just saw that you said launcher

can you get an ip ban ? i made several accounts and closed one by one. since i used hotmail i did not receved the mail. then i did a gmail and it worked.

but now i cant log in...

My computer is a mac.

I've watched videos on youtube for the installation. Where do you want me to paste the text from the config.wtf file to ? I thought it had just to paste set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org from the website to the realmlist.wtf file. (and it saved. it is not in read-only mode)

And I use the "WOW classic" icon to launch the game.

Something am I doing here ?

Oh boy... Sorry, I'm not sure if Macs have the same file structure as Windows.. Not sure if I can be much help here. On Windows, in your WoW folder, there are a bunch of folders like Interface, Data, etc... and there is one called WTF. Inside that folder, there is the config.wtf file. If you just copy and pasted that into a post here, it might show important information on why you are being disconnected.

i have tried all i can figure.

now i even told my friend to log in on his computer and we now that one works since hes playing.

he got the same message... with my details. 

so what can i do? 

even if i create a new account today i get same message. i dont get it?

Ricolaluna is the first one i created @ yesterday. made this account today and i get same failing log on message as on top of this thread.

i have even restarted computer and router.

I figured out what was wrong after a long time of looking at old posts... I had created the account only for the forum and not to play with...
