That being said, we also know that the Elysium team is in the best position to get in contact with what remains of the Nostalrius staff (if they are even around anymore?) It seems to us on the outside that Nostalrius staff set up the generator then closed up shop. We've been told to post on their forums, but from what I saw there, got no answer either. Again, we know you can't fix it, but CAN you get in touch with someone on their side and at least see if they are planning on fixing it, if it can be fixed, etc...? People are waiting to play because of that, and if it's never going to happen, we should let them know to start leveling... 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Microdots 7 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 Start leveling a new character while waiting. There is no definitive answer as to when the token generator will be back up and working again. The point of this point isn't to get an answer, it is to ask the Elysium staff, poignantly, to reach out to Viper or Daemon so that one of their Admins or Developers can give Elysium an update, thus updating the community. Microdots 7 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 You could always post a thread in the https://forum.elysium-project.org/forum/320-contact-the-administration/ or even send a PM to the admins. You could even ask on their twitter page or the reddit page. There are quiet a few outlets you can try on. I rarely see admin's on the help & support page as their duties usually take up most of their time. I just think it would be faster since the Elysium team has to have direct lines of communication, probably at least one phone number, for someone who works on the Nost side. I've been waiting and it's been weeks since it went down. Unfortunately in life, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If we all sit mute, it is extremely likely that nothing will ever happen. If the player base is content as it is, Admin has no reason to fix issues that, well, aren't issues. If people are posting about this, it becomes an issue and thus needs to be fixed. I'm hoping we get some word back so that the people who ARE mad will calm down and act like adults, instead of spamming the forum with insults toward the volunteers which put a lot of time into making all of this work. Microdots 7 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 Not assuming you are upset. I know you want to get things working again so those from Nost can come enjoy the vanilla content again. It has been a few weeks since it has been working. A few friends of mine are in the same situation unable to play their old Nost 60's so they are leveling new characters till the Token Generator works again. I honestly, believe people who want to change things should always voice their opinion in a constructive manner. In all of your posts you have done just that.
