riplip 2 Report post Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) I suggested the above on Reddit about 1.5 months ago on the Dev AMA thread and the P.I.C replied to me saying "As of now, dynamic spawn rates do not affect rare spawns. We are considering its implementation." So is this considered to be a thing yet? It may not be "vanilla" however the average population is 4.5x greater than in retail vanilla. Lunarterial 2 Report post Posted January 7, 2017 I can see the 'population difference' argument making a lot of sense. Seems like there are a lot of (vocal) purists when it comes to their expectations of a vanilla server - regardless of the quality of life improvement that may be provided from such a thing being implemented. In the end i doubt it will be added. Just a bit of devil's advocate here - what comes from rare spawns that is so important anyway? 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
riplip 2 Report post Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) Many higher level rare spawns have good chances to drop blues, rare spawn beasts are good for taming, and if you don't get either of those things then the green item/bag you will get is of good use and can provide a small boost in gold/silver, or can save you some gold.
