You can resend the email once in a while in the control panel on the homepage.

This makes sense, but they also should have anticipated this with a new server launch. Backup authentication and email server ftw.

i just dont understand why even sending 30,000 emails, that it should take 24 hours

A recent blue post says that gmail should work 100%. But that is not the case it seems. 

When registering here on the forum, the email verification came instantly. But not for the actual WoW account.

Signed up yesterday, tried several email addresses but no luck. Tried Hotmail, Gmail, Yandex.
