Sange13 9 Report post Posted January 11, 2017 I don't recall all the details, so you'd have to do a proper search to find it, but I read about a fix involving downloading a trial account of retail, not even finishing the download and not letting it patch, then somehow using the torrent client to finish setting up the game, edit the realmlist, and proceed. As I said, this isn't a complete walkthrough of the process, but it somehow involves the retail client having resolution options higher than that of the vanilla client. As I said, do a search to find the details.
Friskris 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2017 I am currently running in 4K 3840x2160. Just set the display mode in the video settings to windowed, borderless and the client will use your desktop resolution.

Alrik 6 Report post Posted January 11, 2017 It can bug out tho and give you the Resolution of your secondary Monitor as Max. So sometimes when i start it i get 1920x1200 max Resolution, then i need to unplug the second Monitor, restart my PC and start WoW without the second Monitor plugged in, then i'm able to out 3440x1440@100hz as Resolution again. After i can plug in the second Display and it works fine. This only happens occasionally tho, like to me maybe 1 time per Week max.
