DarkJester 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2017 I realize that the developers are diligently working on ways to prevent the mass AFK problem we have at the moment. Kudos to correcting those who wanted to hide behind the character select screen first. My question is, what about all these people AFK in every single inn or town in the all the 1-20 zones. You know, the ones packed in the buildings like sardines. Often sitting around, jumping occasionally, or disagreeing with themselves with a solid No. Granted I understand it would be difficult to pinpoint everyone. It would also be a tedious task to walk behind each building set up against the walls of the town, just to get those few extra AFKers cowering in the corners behind the rock or tree laying against the wall, all awhile thinking they were clever to find a safe AFK spot. Hell I wouldn't even get into the ones out in the world. Who like to mountain climb and plant their mighty AFK flag on the top, overlooking all of those who are actually trying to play the game down below. No, what I would like to see is a small team just simply log in occasionally, Go to these low level towns and witness this sloth nation of AFK queue extending abusers. In fact make it known, yell it loudly and proudly that you are there watching. Tell them they have 5 minutes to disperse. Then let the ban hammers fly. Temporary or long term, make it known that when Elysium Developers announce something serious, it is not just a threat or scare tactic. Its a law that players will abide by for the sake of the rest of the legit hard working players who plan on making this server home. kenion707 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2017 i agree that someting needs to be done. i am one of those who sit in queue for hours ... and yes i have a job i need to attend to. when i get in i play for a short amount of time.. and head to bed. i get home at 16.00 pm and i can sit in queue til 21pm or if i am lucky there is gonna be a server restart, and hopefully i get in at first try when the servers are up...... i am not the only one that spends more time i queues rather than playing the game.. the level 60 race ain't gonna happen for me anyway, people that can stay online in char-screen or dont have a job to attend to.. wins the race ...
