Repeated server restarts needed

The Elysium PVP server needs to be restarted every 4-5 hours from now on until a second fresh server is launched. There are around 3k accounts sitting AFK at the character select screen and ever single inn in the game is packed with characters that are jumping or emoting every few minutes to avoid being timed out, and a lot them have been there for hours. (There are currently two Twitch streams up right now making fun of this). The server queue was over 11k and it's barely moved in the past 3 hours showing that accounts just aren't being logged out normally.

The short term fix for this is to restart the server often to keep the AFKers to a minimum, and allow people actively in queue to get in. The long term fix is for a second fresh server to be launched as soon as possible. The are enough people in queue right now for the Elysium PVP server to completely fill a 2nd fresh server, and if anything, the demand has only been going up, not down. Telling people to move to the Nostalrius PvP server isn't an option either, since it stays close to or at its maximum capacity.

I would rather the limited man power and resources be devoted to bringing another server online that is needed badly, than fighting an AFK issue that shouldn't exist. I and many others are more than willing to donate to move this along.

The only proble i see with that is... I've been sitting in the que since 12:30, i'm currently at 1417.. So, they restart, it kickes the afkers, but what if i dont get in and i'm sat in que for another 4-5 hours? Is that fair?

The only reason the queues are taking so long is because there are thousands of AFKers that are not being logged out normally. Right after the GM's put the anti AFK code in, you could move through an 8k queue in under an hour until they found ways around it, then the queue times shot back up.

Repeated restarts would not fix the issue on the long-term and would inconvenience players quite terribly.
