Help with dealing with the client, part II

Hi,

Since the links given here to download the client are broken/removed by Blizz,
I tried to download it from a link supplied in another vanilla server page.

So finally i was able to download a file called:

RetroWoW-classic.wtf

So first question is - is that file supposed to work here as well, or is it limited to that other private server only?

now, question 2
I saved that file inside the world of warcraft folder.
Since I had no realmlist file, i created one and changed it via the notpad.

Whats the next step? how do i create Elysium "launcher"

Somehow a program started to download some kind of ancient looking launcher, but after finishing it gave an error note, saying something i already got the retail launcher or something similiar.

How can I work this out? or is it a result of the client not fitting to Elysium?

Yes.

There's more than one option there.  Did you try them all?  Torrent works for me.

The torrent one made my antivirus go crazy and warn me it contains Trojan malware.

Anyways, wanted to check if the version i got can be used in Nost-Elysium or it's specific to it's own vanilla server.
