Disconnected From Server

Like many others, I am unable to connect to servers, I have my realmlist set to "logon.elysium-project.org".  I have not rezipped it as I've never had to do that in the past and it should function as a text file as it has several times before.  If anyone can give me a list of instructions instead of linking me to a video without narration, that would be greatly appreciated.

I have an account, yes.  I don't even get any error other than "Discconected From Server".  There's absolutely no mention of any error.  I assume the issue's with the realmlist, but I don't see anyone talking about having to re-zip the WTF.   And what, specifically needs to cleared out from the cache?  I have seen so many conflicting instructions, including even trying to get back into Nost after building a new computer before it got shut down.

Well your realmlist is correct.

You could try using the IP tho:

set realmlist 164.132.233.125

Yeah, that doesn't work either.  Should I delete the WDB and the WTF folder?  Is there anything else I can try as well?

Deleting WDB and WTF doesn't really do anything with issues like this.

You can try if you want but I usually wouldn't recommend it for this issue.

 

Btw, one common issue is that people actually just rename the .wtf file. Have you done this too?

Or have you actually opened it with a text editor to change it?

On Nostalrius, I was simply able to rename it to .txt and edit the file, save the changes, and it worked.  Does that not work now?  If not, how would I edit the file as a WTF?

Right click the realmlist.wtf file and open it with a text editor. If you don't have one by default, download Notepad++ (or something else).

After you opened it just modify the "set realmlist" to either the logon domain or the IP. Like the one I just posted.

hi. I have the same problem. no connection with logon.elysium-project.org I checked on two computers. Сonnectivity problems anywhere I do not have.
