the truth

Recommended Posts

Been focusing on leveling, and since I am ahead of the main curve, I don't meet much alliance. Also at the higher level zones Alliance just completely dominate the Horde, while the Horde just wants to level and quest and not fight. Surprisingly Horde are soft on this server.

Thats a lie that Horde is soft, yesterday we got ganked non-stop at BFD.

The only time i see Hordes not attacking me or others is when they are alone.

A friend saw a Horde left him alone 1minute later the same guy ganked him with 2 other Hordes.

And then you would get ganked after ganking me, Karma.

The problem isn't just the Horde ganking, its the Alliance not fighting back. Playing Alliance this go around has me disgusted at how often they just stand there and /sigh when fighting someone their level instead of fight back. Most Horde know they aren't risking anything because it is literally a free kill.

On Topic: I got 1100 honor to rank 3 this past week.

This is all good and well, but I have yet to encounter a Horde my level that will pick a fight.

They almost ALWAYS attack in groups at my level, or if solo, they are at least 5+ levels higher than me.

As an undergeared Warrior just trying to make headway, there is literally nothing I can do in any PvP "encounter", except die. Usually repeatedly, until I can corpse run to a "safe" area, or the Hordie(s) get bored and go find someone new to gank.

Don't get me wrong. I would fight back if I could, but there is literally nothing I can do as I get kited in circles, or they just heal every second attack.

On topic: I think I farmed about 2k or so at level 19 in WSG (not twinked, just quest greens). Enough to get to R3 and buy the Trinket, at any rate.

i learned the hard way to attack before you get attacked, nothing feels worse then sparing some lone tauren warrior soloquesting to get your ass stomped by the same tauren warrior when he has his crew with him only 5 minutes later

I love to PVP.. that's why im here and not on PVE server, but I also want to level... and killing on sight can lead to a very slow lvl process when they come back to kill you.. and then any ally in area may now know youre killing on sight and so they attack you on sight.... its a choice i still consider every time i see an ally.

This is something i have thought of a lot!  .... BUT... i approach it like this... if i attack on sight.. i risk only annoying someone so thy come back to ambush me when im low or w/e but who may well have left me alone and we just quest near each other...

... i will help ally at times when questing (pvp is 1 thing, but players are just ppl like me too), if i see them over pull or i see them almost dead.. i have even kited the elite Golem in the slag pit of searing gorge while 3 ally dps'd, i waited to takee agro once they had tagged it cos i saw them wipe and come back as i was on other quests. (funny thing, backs up your point tbh lol.. 10 mins later i was with 1 person in group i just met on same q's... and lvl 60 war came and killed us both for fun when we were low ... all i could think was ''omg do you even know what I did for 3 ally players just 10 mins ago u fuka!! hehe)

Currently, i will not attack ally unless they attack.. i will 'slightly' prepare if they come my way.. so they can see i have seen them.. they norm wide birth me .. i dont hunters mark them (even though to be safe, i should, to get the GCD out the way)  and i would say 50/50 up to about lvl 40 or so they attack... and after lvl 45-50 i would say only 10-20% of ally attack me.

I know this can lead to things like you mention, where the cheeky little sod come back with friends for no reason acting the big man... my personal pet hate is when an ally player attacks me when im low hp after an over pull  or just hard grinding so no mana and pet hp low etc...

they have no honor.. im always up for a straight fight... im a hunter.. i fear nothing in all of wow!!!  .. but them times when they get me when im low or at the vendor in place where guards dont attack... chicken shit's!

so i feel you.. but i still lean towards benefit of the doubt... i pay for this.. but not as much as if i attack on sight, imo :P

edit: 60 v 60 when both have finished leveling is a different story... soon as i ding... youre all dead! on sight!

BE WARNED!

2nd edit: oh yeah! the topic haha ... sorry but thats classified information.. im not letting you know what u need to rank up! :P

what does actually happens on horde side? why cant we just play together, not against. Its so much more fun to agree for a fixed standing.. everybody can rank dont have to play 25hours a day. last week there was 400k+, for what? alliance gonna fuck us 110% in 2 weeks, when nearly everybody is 10+, 12+ ... the gear, the teamplay, the lineups, motivation- every single point, a lack on horde side.

I'm not sure what experiences you have had in BG's as horde. I am horde and I would say ...(though i have only just dinged 60 the other day i did pvp some to get rank 3 for mount then kept it up a little each week while levelling so as to not drop a rank and went up to rank 4) ...that most of the time ppl are motivated and focused, trying their best to work as a team and we win more often than lose, as horde, but thats just my experience so far and not at 60, so maybe that will change.

The only real prob I have seen so far is the same probs in pug bg's that have existed since day 1.. and they are

1: ppl dont always agree on tactics, which leads to BS arguing and so lowers team spirit. (unfortunate but some ppl just cant compromise their idea's of whats the 'best' tactic for a specific situation and have to be the 1 who 'tells' everyone how to play and often even states ''L2P NOOBS''

which is also often a direct reason for...

2: some silly mentality person who is more focused on pointing out mistakes in a ridiculing manner than playing or who is just someone who enjoys name calling ppl when they themselves are ofc immune to mistakes or the need to learn.

but them things are the same on horde and ally.

I hope your experience gets better... if not.. then you should try to make friends or forum posts to create a premade group who can debate/agree on tactics.
