Chances of getting account unbanned

Hey guys. I am posting here to ask a few questions. A day ago my account was banned for the second time in about 2 weeks. The last time my account was banned it was hacked and used for gold spam - spam whispering people with nasty gold websites. This time I hope it was the same reason it was banned. I added the 2step authenticator to my account when my friend told me about it. As I was doing it I tried to log in and found I was banned.

The main question from me is what are the chances of getting my account unbanned. I really do not want to loose account and my characters. Mainly my Warlock on the new Zeth'Kur realm I plan to play with my friends on.

So I have no real idea about how the ban appeal process works. I am fairly worried as on the post is says "Finally, be aware that MOST bans are final. We are not required to provide evidence, or any information whatsoever, relating to the ban decision.". This really freaks me out, I do not want to bother GMs on discord because of the current situation they are dealing with regarding the servers.

Have any other people used the ban appeal process and what was it like in terms of response time and result.

PS. With everything going on at the moment I am well aware wait times will be longer to get this case reviewed and I understand and except that.

Since it's the same unban reason twice, I'd say they might just blow it off...it isn't their job to keep unbanning you because you use weak passwords. I would be more concerned how they got your information, twice at that, tbh. I use different passwords everywhere and not once has one of my WoW server accounts been compromised. Submit a ban appeal and start changing all your passwords everywhere is pretty much all any of us could tell you. Good luck!

This is all coming from my experience working with another server, of course. I can't speak for how the Elysium staff functions.

If you have tried to log in recently you are not banned bro.. the servers are down.

Well I do have the 2step authenticator now on my account. And as far as I know it could be for something else out of my control.

Ok, was just making sure ^_^ I thought my account was banned as well until I realized yesterday the servers got taken down completely. Sorry mate :(

if you have tried to long in within the past 24 hours, then pretty much the server has been down, they had it so far down it was showing invalid login creds.

The server has been down for about the past 18 hours. It's unplanned maintenance.
