If you didnt transfer your character from Nostalrious to elysioum before the core drama wasnt it that its gone ?

Do some research and verify that.

Most likely you got hacked and the haΧΧ04 deleted your toon as well when they finished stripping him out.

You were on vacation and missed the announcement.. Sorry about that.

Nostalrius has asked that Elysium stop using their data. This includes but is not limited to:  Core and Data-base.

Essentially, all characters moved over from Nost have been wiped from the data-base and you're now missing characters that you worked on while playing on Nost's realm.

A lot of accounts have been compromised including my own. Your account was probably hacked, robbed and to add insult to injury the hacker deleted your lvl 60 that you worked on getting. But im guessing the Elysium Staff are just going to tell you that it was your fault that your account was compromised even though it happened on their server...

Oh shit, alright...

I had transfert my character 1 Months... 1 Months 1/2 ago...
So this is probably the ''Drama'' with the Database wiped...

Is there a way for me to take back my character ? (On Elysium server of course...)

Thanks a lot for your answer !!

That's because it generally is your responsibility. This is what happens when you reuse a password or get keylogged.

Elysium even provides the tools to protect your account with two-factor authentication now.

At the end of the day, your account is your responsibility. If the account databases were compromised (which is clearly what you are insinuating) then everyone with level 60 would have been hacked already. Since this is not the case, the only cause remaining is the account owner's own lack of security.

This post probably makes you angry.. but those are the simple facts.

I agree that Elysium could choose to do more to restore stolen/hacked accounts, but that would just be a courtesy to you... getting mad about it isn't going to change their stance on restorations. :\

Greetings!

I want to apologise for my lack of information in my previous reply.

Take a look at our Two Factor Authentication option, this will help you secure your account in the future.

Our ToU states that:

Elysium staff will not recover any lost or deleted characters, regardless of circumstances.

The account owner is responsible for the security of the account and that it's sufficiently protected. Note that Elysium staff does not recover hacked accounts. You should:

Never share your account information;

Have a unique and complicated password that does not exceed 16 characters;

Connect yourself from a secure computer and network;

Never download unsafe files that might contain viruses/malware;

Never use the same credentials (username and password) on another server or service.

Regards
GM Team
