tivolei 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 So was chilling and grinding with my mate in duskwood. Got disconnected and when i tried to log back in it said "This world of warcraft account has been closed and is no longer available for use." As i recall i'm a harmless 28 priest trying to lvl to play with my mates. I know of another person who dced just at the same time as me and have the same error message. So what kind of bugg is this? (And yes i know alot of people are gonna say "banned" but for that to happen you should have violated some kind of rule in my opinion. Doesn't feel that trustworthy really. I'll even offer in a more private mail setting to show a card draft since the creation of my account.) Best regards. Lukas

Shiamorah 20 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 I have personally never been banned or experienced this, so I am going to assume that this is what you see when you are banned. I would suggest trying to post a ban appeal, and see where that gets you.

To see if there was a possibility for help and / or any others have had the same issues
Shiamorah 20 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 Well, I mean I know the staff does a thorough job to make sure that you weren't wrongfully banned or anything. I would just wait for a response on your appeal to see exactly what happened. From my experience, threads like this won't do much for you. If this was some bug or something, I'm sorry for your trouble, but just know that the staff here works diligently around the clock to make sure players like you are taken care of.

Of course i know they are working non-stop and trying their best. But to just "leave it be" would not be in the best interest of the community if this have occured for others than just me. And would you not want your case to have more attention to itself if this would have been you?
Shiamorah 20 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 I can understand where you are coming from, but imagine a forum where every time someone is banned, wrongfully or not, they create a thread in addition to their appeal. It'd be a mess. I know that you are trying to be informative to the general public that there may be a bug or something similar occurring here, but in my opinion, it would be best to wait until the staff replies to your ban appeal. That way, if it is indeed something like a bug, then you could post about it publicly, making people aware of it. The reason why I am saying to just wait for your appeal is to confirm whether or not this is a bug, because a thread like this could prove unproductive if there was a different reason for your ban.
