just made account, cant log in

just made an account, got the confirmation emails, etc. tried logging into game and I get this message:
 

"The information you have entered is not valid. Please check the spelling of the account name and password." but I assure you i've typed it back in numerous times and it keeps failing.

 

my realmlist is set correctly is it just cause the main website is down?

Well the main website is down so I figured they may have been attached, is there a way I can make an account while the maintenance is going on? ty for fast response

I can't even get a confirmation email from Elysium to play, but I can get one for the forums within seconds.

What anonymous email providers can I use for the actual Elysium account to play the game? I'm not using my normal email accounts to register for something of dubious legality. I've tried mailinator, throwawaymail etc.

Hi, i just heard about your server and i'm dying to try it out. Thanks in advance for making a good vanilla server available!

I just tried to create an account but i after i did the reCAPTCHA is does'nt allow me to proceed for some reason. I used both chrome an internetexpl. but it seems that i;m missing part of the site; text is not entirely displayed and i can't scroll up/down.

Could you please help me find a sollution? cheers

I got the same problem. Still using googlemail. But it only works for forum. Not for account

Same problem as DA88? Or Crown? I used gmail and had no trouble at all. If you got to the point of verifying your email, then you should be able to log into the control panel and try to resend the email. Can you try that?

Just a quick update -- I created a new account just for the purposes of testing and can confirm that activation emails are not working currently with Gmail. I don't know if the activation emails are working at all right now, this should get escalated to the staff.

EDIT: Disregard that! I Just received the email. If you aren't getting one, log into the main control panel and resend it. Just to be clear, I just created a new account using Gmail address and it worked correctly.

This appears to be related to the email confirmation system, not the email provider. After waiting 2 hours neither of the throwaway email accounts received confirmation emails. I then used the control panel to resend and it worked almost instantly. I'm wondering if there's a bug where the first isn't sent, and it requires a manual resend to actually work.

Since they just did all that work on severs and website etc due to the downtime it's entirely possible something got screwed up with the initial confirmation email.
