Modified Server?

Have the devs considered creating a modified server to implement some of the changes that are constantly asked for on the blizzlike servers? This way those people can have what they want and the blizzlike community doesn't have to worry about the suggestions.

Yeah I understand that they want to keep the current servers blizzlike and I agree with that. This would be in addition to those servers, not instead of, so in my opinion your post is not relevant.

Nowhere does it say create and maintain ONLY blizzlike vanilla servers. It says to create and maintain a blizzlike vanilla server and they are currently achieving that philosophy, that does not mean that they cannot branch out from this singular goal. I read somewhere that tbc might be considered in the future, this too would go against the philosophy in your opinion correct?

If they choose to do that, that's fine. I like TBC.

However, they still would strive to emulate blizzlike TBC. It wouldn't be a modified client version of TBC. I think that's pretty obvious given their stance on the current servers.

That discussion really doesn't have much bearing on your request though, because they are quite a ways from TBC. If ever. Right now we're talking about vanilla, and modified vanilla. Modified vanilla, as they have stated numerous times, isn't going to happen.

TBC =/ Vanilla was my point in that scenario. Either way I don't actually actually want changes to vanilla but I'm tired of seeing the suggestions. The only thing I want changed at the moment is some quest respawn times like bingles and the redridge elite quests for example. Waiting 30m and then getting the npc/item tagged/clicked by another group is sucky. Anyways thanks for the discussion.
