Daxiongmao87 5 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 I'm not sure if this is feasible, but I think this would be effective if the gold spamming bots are automated and not human-driven. Could it be possible to implement a spam trigger (so many messages at such a short time) that will mute the offender, then have a message to ask the offender a question that would require human interaction? (9 x 2 = ?, or Today's Day is ?, or Gold Spamming is ____ Tolerated) using the dot command system. (.answer 18,.answer Thursday,.answer not). Any thoughts?
Guybrush 11 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) You think a bot wouldn't figure out what's 9 x 2? They might not even be bots, they could be Chinese slaves. Edited January 20, 2017 by Guybrush
ThatMask 1 Report post Posted January 21, 2017 I think the reasoning isn't whether or not a bot is capable of doing math, but the fact they're generally not made with any kind of reply triggers. I'm pretty sure sweatshop workers aren't at all behind them, considering bots can do the same exact job for free and around the clock without stop.
